Appointments

The initial consultation can last anything between thirty and sixty minutes or even more.

A very detailed medical case history is taken and all patients currently on a course of drugs should bring them along at the first (or second) consultation. An examination of both tongue and pulse will be carried out, and a brief physical examination will be conducted where appropriate.

The first consultation includes an initial treatment, which will be given according to the full TCM diagnosis derived from the examination.

The entire proceedings are safequarded by total confidentiality.

Subsequent treatment sessions will last from anything between twenty minutes (the typical length of time in China) up to an hour.
